American Asphalt was created in 2005.  The Kenova Plant is a 2 ½ ton batch plant with a silo to service the customer’s needs.  With the additions of the enclosed liquid asphalt storage building, the silo and new scale system, the Kenova plant is increasing volume year after year.

The Saint Albans plant, affectionately known as “Big Bertha” is a 5 ton batch plant erected in 2010.  Located on the Kanawha River at mile post 44.5, there is an unloading dock on the property to easily furnish the plant with the necessary aggregate to manufacture premium grade asphalt.

As the only Batch producing asphalt plant in the tri-state area, it gives American Asphalt the capability to manufacture asphalt.
